Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk

Join our FPC Matawan Walk Teams, including the Youth Group, on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. for the 45th annual Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk. The walk begins at Red Bank Regional High School and follows the traditional 5-mile route through the Red Bank area. You can also support the cause by sponsoring one of our Adult or Youth walkers. Our CROP Walk team is consistently one of the top teams in the region, and your support is greatly appreciated!

The funds raised will help end hunger and poverty in the U.S. and around the world. Locally, our Matawan Community Food Pantry—one of 14 partner pantries—will receive a portion of both the monetary donations and food collected. Each year, 25% of all contributions stay local, while the remaining 75% goes to Church World Service (CWS) to support worldwide hunger relief and self-development mission efforts.

Last year’s Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk raised $120,000 and 10,000 pounds of food, ranking #4 nationwide. Our church contributed over $4,500, with our Matawan Community Food Pantry receiving $2,329 and a carload of food.
