We are a strong, diverse, caring community of faith, with
a commitment to inclusion, outreach and social justice.

Sharing God’s love is the foundation of our community outreach.

Opening Doors to Others

We host various groups in our Church building including the Deeper Life Church and the Presbyterian Nursery School. The Spotlight Players present performances in our Fellowship Hall and the Arcadian Chorale rehearse in our building.

Addiction Recovery

Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous both hold their meetings in our Church building. We are proud to be a part of these sobriety journeys.

Food Ministries

Fresh, healthy food is key to our well-being. Our members support the administration and distribution of food at the Matawan Food Pantry, located in the Matawan Municipal Building, as well as our Community Food Pantry with Cross of Glory Lutheran Church. We also support the annual CROP Walk for Hunger, each October.

Women’s Bible Study

This group meets each Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to discuss specific Biblical texts, and/or books such as The Story, an abridged, chronological Bible that reads like a novel taking the reader through the Bible in story form. All women are welcome to join the group each Saturday — or whenever you can.

Crochet and Knitting Group

We meet every Thursday at 10 a.m. and everyone is invited to join. We make anything from prayer shawls, scarves and lap blankets to baby hats, sweaters and blankets. Some of our children’s items are distributed to people and places with great need.

Members learn new patterns, styles and techniques in an atmosphere of fellowship.
