This is a narrative budget that shows you the impact of our spending; how your gifts will fulfill the ministry and mission of our church.

Worship $139,700

Worship is that amazing time where we gather to sing our praises, give thanks, and experience God’s presence together. Pathways, Traditional and online worship services with the preaching of the Word by Pastor Natalie, our wonderful bands and adult and children’s music program, our Music Director, our bulletin, maintenance of the Chapel and the Sanctuary, along with the upkeep of our musical instruments and licenses.

Pastoral Care & Fellowship $57,300

Pastoral care is our church acting truly as the body of Christ, reaching out in love to members and those in our local community who face special challenges. It includes Pastoral and deacon home and hospital visitation, meals, counseling, flowers, and home communion for shut-ins, funerals, memorial services, and prayer lists. Fellowship builds bonds of friendship and love within our merging church. It’s always a great time to gather to eat, laugh, study, and play at picnics, church dinners, game nights, and coffee hour.

Christian Education $62,400

God has given us a great gift in our children, who learn and grow in Sunday School, Confirmation Class, and our Junior and Senior High youth groups. Our Presbyterian Nursery School offers quality daycare and learning in a setting that teaches Christian Values. As adults, we grow in our faith through new member classes, Bible Studies, and devotional guides at Advent and Christmas.

Mission $26,600

Through Mission, we show God’s love to those in need beyond our church family. Mission educates us on social issues and allocates funds to support Presbyterian missions in Northern Ireland, Honduras, and Israel/Palestine. We also support special offerings like One Great Hour of Sharing and Peacemaking and, locally, our Food Pantry, Love Inc., and the CROP walk.

Evangelism & Community Outreach $59,300

We share the Good News of Jesus Christ with messages of hope and love through online worship, social media, our website and sign, and community events like flea markets and craft fairs. We engage the local community by maintaining and using our building to host groups such as Spotlight Players, Arcadian Chorale, and 12-step recovery groups.

Denominational Support $8,300

We are part of the Presbyterian Church USA, and we support the wider church through our per capita gifts and the involvement of our pastor. PCUSA, in turn, supports us with Youth Trienniums, the calling and care of pastors, and many educational and resource materials.

Our God is an extravagant giver – giving us love, grace and our Savior, Jesus.

• We are made in God’s image and God calls on us also to be extravagant givers. When we are generous, we reflect God’s nature. How can we repay God’s goodness to us?
• We can only find the answer in our hearts. Nothing we have is too big or grand to offer our awesome God. No gift is too small if it represents our prayers, a sacrifice and a generous proportion of our resources.
