Bible Study | Holy Week Experiences
Lent is a 40-day period (excluding Sundays) of preparation before Holy Week, starting with Palm Sunday. It involves prayer, repentance, and fasting, reminiscent of Jesus’ 40 days in the desert. Many abstain from certain foods or activities to show their dependence on God. This time helps prepare our hearts for the Last Supper, Crucifixion, and Resurrection, renewing our commitment to God and embracing new life in Christ.
The 9:00 a.m. service has a warm and informal chapel setting, with praise bands providing musical leadership. On the other hand, the 10:30 a.m. service is more traditional, with musical leadership provided by chancel or bell choirs, piano or organ, and various instrumentalists.
As Presbyterians, we invite all Christians to join us at the Table of Our Lord for Communion on the first Sunday of every month, regardless of denominational affiliation.
Both services are live-streamed on Facebook.
Our Nursery (located downstairs in Room 102) is open from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. for children under 3 years of age; however, children are always welcome in our services of worship.
Fellowship Hour will follow each service. All are invited to join us for light refreshments and fellowship.
