Bounty Sunday

The Matawan Food Pantry is stocking up for Thanksgiving! We want to provide our clients with the ingredients for a Thanksgiving dinner that includes the turkey and all the trimmings, plus the usual staples for the month. We provide food to over 100 households in Aberdeen and Matawan, and this is expected to grow. We are asking YOU to bring food to Thanksgiving Bounty on Sunday, Nov 23rd. Turkeys and turkey breasts can be left in the freezer in the Fellowship Hall chair room on Sundays, clearly marked “Food Pantry”, or contact the church office 732-566-2663 or Sis DeMarco to arrange a time for drop off at church. Non-perishables ONLY can be left in bins outside the Matawan Municipal Building at 201 Broad Street.

Food items needed include:

  • Turkeys/turkey breasts (bring to church only)
  • Stuffing
  • Boxed mashed potatoes
  • Gravy
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Canned green beans
  • Cream of mushroom soup
  • Tuna
  • Cereal
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Canned Fruit or Vegetables
  • Pasta and Pasta Sauce Beans and Rice

Thank you for your continued support of this essential local ministry!
