The flag was officially hoisted at Newark City Hall in March 1967. Kay will speak about her father’s book, “Rallying Point,” written by Melvin Charles, author, and co-designer of the flag.

Come listen to this greater sorry of artistry and perseverance.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Barbara Jean Kearney.

We look forward to seeing you there.
