PATHWAYS Contemporary Service

Join us in the chapel each Sunday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. for a contemporary worship service in a warm, informal setting. Music is led by our praise band.

Can’t be here in person? Worship with us from home via Facebook Live.

After the service, we invite you to Fellowship Hour in the Adult Lounge (across the hall). Enjoy light refreshments and good conversation—all are welcome!


Home Communion visits are available every month.

Lent Begins with an Ash Wednesday service on Wed. Feb 18 th at 7:30 pm. This Holy Season will include a special Palm Sunday Cantata, a Maundy Thursday Agape Feast, Good Friday worship, a Holy Saturday Prayer Vigil, and, finally, Easter Sunrise on the Lake and Easter worship on April 5th.

Upcoming Events:

  • Our Lenten Wednesday Night Bible Study on the Gospel of Matthew will be in the Lounge/Hybrid, 6-7:15 pm from February 25th to March 25th
  • Mardi Gras Celebration! Please join us for a Shrove Pancake Dinner and fun! Sunday, February 15th at 4 pm – RSVP on the insert in the Bulletin
  • It’s Almost Here! White Elephant Auction & Dinner, sponsored by the Board of Deacons, is on Saturday, January 31st at 5:00 pm! RSVP by Jan 26 – see the insert in the bulletin for information. Join us for this FUN event!
  • SOUPS ON! Youth Group Fundraiser Extended: Please help support our youth! Chicken & Rice (gluten-free) and Minestrone (vegetarian) – Quarts $10 each. Pay by cash, check, or Zelle by Febuary 18th – Contact Kris Schoelkopf or the Church Office. Soup will be picked up in Fellowship Hall after the 10:30 worship on Febuary 22nd.
  • Food Pantry Needs – Our Food Pantry needs donations! Our Febuary focus is Pasta and Sauce!. You can bring non-perishables to 201 Broad Street or to the collection bin outside of Rm 207 of the church. Checks or Zelle to FPC Matawan (note *Food Pantry) Contact Sis DeMarco: 732-687-3212 or the church office.
  • The Bayshore Lunch Program provides a free hot lunch on weekdays at the Community Church in Keyport.  Mission Commission is seeking volunteers to help Cross of Glory Church prepare and serve lunch on the first Wednesday of each month. We are also exploring adopting a day of the month to serve.  If you can volunteer, contact Pat Perri or any member of the Mission Commission.
  • The Presbytery Men’s Retreat 2026 is Feb 27 -March 1. Please register at Campjburg.org by Feb 1, 2026
  • The Women’s Retreat 2026 is March 13-15, 2026. Google registration is extended! Brochures are in the Narthex. See Rev. Natalie for information!
